Located in the delightfully intimate Downstairs Bar, underneath Momo's restaurant, our parties take place in this dance den which is about house-party as you can get without having to actually remove the furniture from the living room and borrow your friend's speakers; in fact we have a pretty amazing moorish decor and a top PA system.

THE DASH ARABIC SERIES CAFÉ (7PM TO 10PM) + CARSTEN KLEMANN

On the first Thursday of every month the Dash Arabic Series continues the company’s international outlook with a commission of four major projects by artists from the Arab world, supported by an ongoing series of performances, talks, films, events and outreach work. It will be an homage to Oum Kalsoum (the Egyptian legend would broadcast her songs live across the Arabic world on the first Thursday of every month). Tonight’a guest Abdelkader Saadoun, self-proclaimed Algerian king of playing rock-n rai!

To continue the night, MyMy founder Carsten Klemann of Watergate fame and recent London import will be playing all night long. This charismatic and talented DJ has the ability to unite the crowd on the dancefloor, let the party starts here!

Severino + Ben Osborn (Noise of Art)

Having everyone dancing on the tables may not always be the best way to guarantee your return to one of central London’s swankiest venues, but that doesn’t seem to have stopped the ultra fashionable, not say meticulously presented, word of mouth club Momo from inviting DJs Severino and Ben Osborne back to do their trademark party mix-up again. Their last foray here caused sweet chaos as they mixed from everything into anything (Seventies funk rock to salsa to glitched disco, jiggy house, drum n bass and bin munching b-lines). Even the doormen joined in the “one more tune” chorus.

Tony George

Anthony George has been DJing for over 15 years. He worked with Tim Soar at Sound Architecture from the mid 90s ('95 - 2003). At Sound Architecture, he collaborated on a variety of musical styles and contributed in branding many of London's elite venues, from the Met Bar to the Sanderson. Anthony ventured into World music, whilst resident DJ at Hakkasan, Opium and Atlantic bar. He also plays a number of other genres at venues in London, ranging from Nu Disco, Deep/minimal Tech House and funk breaks.

A regular DJ at the famous club Wag throughout its 18 years, Chris Sullivan has since played at almost every hip club in the capital while popping up behind the decks at numerous art, film and fashion parties. Dress to impress tonight!
